The Pack is the large group comprised of all scouts in K-5 that are registered for Pack 99 and their adults.
Pack 99 was chartered in 1999, and is chartered by the River View Elementary PTO
Our pack welcomes boys and girls in grades K-5 from all backgrounds
Pack Meetings are once a month, typically on Friday evenings, but sometimes on a Saturday for special activities
At Pack Meetings, we'll do activities, play games, listen to guest speakers, and learn scouting skills
Pack Meetings are also when Scouts are presented with their advancements: patches, badges, and other recognition for completed activities. This is an important part of Scouting as it recognizes the skills being developed by each scout
Den
Den
The Pack is comprised of Dens, which are small groups organized by grade level. Dens are the heart of the Scouting experience.
Dens meet 1-3 times a month, scheduled based on availability of the Den members
During Den Meetings, scouts will work towards completing their Adventures, which are the required activities to earn the Badge of Rank for each grade level
Adventures revolve around developing the Cub Scout Aims of Character, Citizenship, Personal Fitness, and Leadership

Council
Pack 99 is part of Rainbow Council. Our council provides resources, guidance, and activities to support local packs. They also provide access to Rainbow Scout Reservation, with camping facilities and opportunities for outdoor activities year round.
Parents & Families
Parents & Families
Our pack depends on parents and families to keep everything running! Our Pack Committee is a team of volunteers who plan pack activities, manage the budget, and ensure compliance with all BSA rules and regulations.
Family involvement helps our pack continue to provide a robust program to our Scouts. We believe that many hands make light work!

We know that being active members of our local community is an important part of the scouting experience, and we participate in events throughout the year to give back to our communities through service, trail clean ups, and support of local arts and civic organizations.
We also receive support from our community and regularly partner with local police, fire, and veterans organizations to provide more opportunities for our Scouts to engage in civic life.
